Wicomico Environmental Trust is hosting a fishing tournament targeting invasive fish species: blue catfish and northern snakeheads. Entrants may register online at wicomicoenvironment.org or on site at 7-9 AM April 20. They may fish anywhere that they like but we encourage fishing in the Wicomico River. Entry fee is $15 for 16 years and older. Entrants under 16 are free and fishing licenses are not required for youth. T-shirts and trophies to the winners and serious anglers may enter our winner-take-all Calcutta for $50. We will have educational exhibits regarding invasive fish species and from 3 to 5 PM there will be a live band and food trucks.
