The nation marked Juneteenth with an official federal holiday celebrating the entrance of Union soldiers into Galveston Bay, Texas in 1865 freeing the state's slaves. Host Don Rush talks with Dr. Arlisha Norwood, assistant professor of history at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, about the significance of that day during this contentious political year.
