Pocomoke City Murder Result of a Bad Drug Deal, Authorities Say

The killing of James Allen Jr. on December 1 was motivated by a drug dispute. During a news conference this morning the Maryland State Police said that he was targeted  by 36 year-old Anthony Tunnel.

Tunnel has been charged with first and second-degree murder, manslaughter and drug related charges.

Allen died after being shot around 10 p.m.

The Pocomoke City police got a 911 call and found him at the corner of Market and Fourth Streets.
