Delaware Has New DNR Secretary

DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware has a new secretary of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control.

WDEL-AM reports that Dave Small was sworn in Wednesday morning.

He has been deputy secretary since 2001. Small has been an employee of the department for 27 years. He has served six different cabinet secretaries.

Small lives in Dover. He replaces Colin O'Mara, who left the department to become president and chief executive officer of the National Wildlife Federation.
