Wednesdays are standing Bingo Nights at The Sterling Tavern in Berlin. Often, it devises them as a fundraiser for a local non-profit or other community organization. The beneficiary receives the proceeds of all the $2.00 Bingo cards that are sold, plus whatever it collects from a 50/50 or auction, if it chooses to run those.
On April 24th, Bingo Night will be dedicated to the Lower Eastern Shore Group of the Maryland Sierra Club, which will also run a 50/ 50 and an auction.
It should be a fun-filled night with much good cheer, and it will benefit a group of volunteers who work hard to "preserve, protect and enjoy" the planet.
