African American Elderly Urged to Get New Pneumonia Vaccines

Much of the nation has been consumed with the coronavirus pandemic and the struggles over getting enough people vaccinated. This has diverted attention from other vaccines. Karen Jones, President and CEO of the National Caucus and Center on Black Aging, is urging African Americans to get one of the two new vaccines that are being developed for pneumonia. Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush talked with her about the new development and vaccine hesitancy in the African American community.
