This past weekend, Salisbury lost a historian. Linda Duyer was known to write about the city's past -- sometimes the difficult past -- and especially the African American community.
Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush talked with Greg Bassett, editor and general manager of the Salisbury Independent, who says her columns opened up a whole different understanding of the city he thought he knew.
On her Facebook page, she last wrote, "I'm wishing everyone I've known all the best."
