With the Republican National Convention in full swing, many Republicans feel disaffected and have organized to stop the reelection of President Donald Trump. But, the harsh rhetoric heard from the podium is not necessarily new. Author Julian Zelizer says it reaches back to a man who was once a backbencher, Newt Gingrich. Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush talked with him about his new book, "Burning Down the House: Newt Gingrich, the Fall of a Speaker, and the Rise of the New Republican Party" and what it says about the modern GOP.
