Plans are underway for a Pride Parade in Salisbury next year.
WBOC reports that Salisbury P-Flag, an LGBTQ organization, made the announcement after re-painting three sidewalks in rainbow colors in downtown Salisbury.
Janay Mcintosh with P-Flag told the television station that this will allow the community to celebrate without having to leave Salisbury.
In addition to the parade the organization says it will hold other events.
