Maryland Casino Revenue Declined Last Month

Casino revenue in Maryland declined by 4 percent last month coming in at $142 million.

That’s a $6 million decline compared to June of last year.

WBOC reports that the contributions to the state registered at $60 million with $45 million going into the Education Trust Fund.

Ocean Downs Casino saw a $4.8 percent decline from last year with $6.8 million in revenue.

MGM National Harbor was down by 4.1 percent with revenue of $56 million.

Horseshoe Casino Baltimore saw a dramatic 18 percent drop with $18 million in revenue.

Hollywood Casino was down by 3.9 percent while Live! Casino Hotel saw a decline of 1.7 percent.

Rocky Gap Casino was the only one that saw an increase and was up 7.5 percent.
