The U.S. Coast Guard rescued a man who fell off a personal watercraft in the Ocean City Inlet over the weekend.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the agency was contacted around 5 p.m. on Saturday afternoon about a man who was unable to swim although he was wearing a life jacket.

The Coast Guard said that the man was pulled out of the water around a 100 yards from his craft.

The man said he had been in the water for around 30 minutes.
