Voters in Kent County have given their approval to all three questions put forth by the Capital School District referendum.
They approved an increase in property taxes to provide funding for two new middle schools and increasing operating costs.
The Central Middle and William Henry Middle Schools would be replaced with the state pledging more than $60 million in a bond bill.
Superintendent Dan Shelton told WBOC that the new funding would mean the district would be able to better meet the needs of its students.
