Salisbury University has renamed its Center for International Education after former university president Janet Dudley-Eshbach.
The Salisbury Daily Times reports that a crowd gathered yesterday at the renamed building to mark her accomplishments during her tenure.
Dudley-Eshbach told the group of university officials and students that she was greatly honored and noted that she herself had benefited greatly from her time as head of the institution.
She is a scholar of Latin American literature studying Spanish in Mexico.
In 2006 she was at the ribbon cutting ceremony when the Center was first opened.
