Missing Brandywine Creek Jumper Idenfied

WILMIGNTON, Del. (AP) - Police have identified a 20-year-old man who was reported missing after jumping into a creek at a state park.

Delaware State Police identified the man as Miguel Angel Del Valle on Wednesday.

Police say the man jumped into Brandywine Creek using a rope swing around 6:30 p.m. on Monday and was last seen going over a dam. Police say the man had been at Alapocas Run State Park with three other people.

Police say the three other people did not call 911 until around 8:10 p.m., after they had returned to their homes in Wilmington.

Police say authorities continue to search the creek and surrounding area for the man.
