Surveying the Terrapin

The Maryland Inland Coastal Bays survey team went out this on Friday for the 7th annual terrapin count in the Sinepuxent Bay.

Friday’s count was nearly 60 considered a good number for the survey.

Officials told WBOC that the data will be used for planning purposes and to identify areas as being critical for habitat.

The results of the survey will not be available for another couple of weeks.
