There was no shortage of applications for the two medical marijuana dispensaries in Sussex and Kent counties.
Eleven applications were submitted with some seeking to serve both Delaware counties.
The Wilmington News Journal reports that despite the number of applications it’s possible that there will be no winner.
The applicants paid a $5-thousand application fee and would have to put out another $40-thousand for the licensing fee.
The News Journal reports that some of the applicants may have to hold a public meeting to get local input.
That will also be considered by Delaware state officials before they issue the license.
