Hogan at Bedside of Relative in Hospice Care

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - The governor of Maryland is out of the state indefinitely to be at the bedside of a relative in hospice care.

Gov. Larry Hogan spokesman Matthew A. Clark tells the Baltimore Sunthat Hogan left Maryland Monday night and will be joined by his wife, first lady Yumi Hogan, later in the week.

Clark says the duration of the trip is indefinite, but Hogan remains in touch with his staff and is continuing to direct all agencies in the state government.  Hogan is traveling with his Maryland State Police security detail.
