If you’re planning on adding fertilizer to your lawn in Maryland, think again.

From November 16th through March 1st a 2013 law says people cannot apply it.

It should be done by certified lawn care professionals.

WBOC reports that “Farmers and Planters” in Salisbury is trying to help people out providing information and options.

The Maryland Department of Agriculture says that those who violate the law face fines of up to $2-thousand.
