On Monday there will be a 15-thousand square foot state-of-the-art detox center in Harrington open for business.
It’s located on East Street near U.S. Route 13.
The Wilmington News Journal reports that there will 16 inpatient beds for those requiring up to a week of assistance.
In addition, another 12 short-term beds will be available in order for nurses to be able to observe patients for 23 hours.
That will give them time to decide what level of care they require.
The News Journal reports that official plan to open up additional treatment services around the state over the next year.
