Pat Downs Instituted at Crisfield Police Building

If you enter the Crisfield Police Department building, there is a sign which warns visitors they will be subject to a search.

Chief Michael Tabor announced the new regulation after two NYPD officers in New York were shot to death.

That shooter then killed himself.

Tabor told WBOC that that those two officers were doing nothing but sitting in their police car before being executed.

The new rule will not apply to everyone.

Rather officers will be on the lookout for people with what Tabor described as disheveled clothing or bulges in certain areas.

Disgruntled people could also be subject to a pat down.
