As the boats went out this morning at the White Marlin Open in
Ocean City John Bayliss’ 78-pound white marlin stood at the top of the leaderboard.
Meanwhile, Sam Lancelotta on the Gratitude brought in a 738.5 pound blue marlin exceeding the 500 pound requirement.
It’s been two years since anyone has qualified a blue marlin at the tournament.
The scales on the final day of the tournament open at 4 p.m. this afternoon.
