The left lane of westbound span of the Bay Bridge has been reopened after a serious two-vehicle accident shutdown traffic.
The Maryland Transportation Authority reports there were injuries.
But motorists should still expect heavy traffic and authorities are recommending avoiding westbound US 50 at this time.
