An overturned tractor-trailer shut down the southbound US Route 301 at Maryland Route 544.
Maryland State Highway Administration says its crews have been sent the scene where the truck apparently struck a telephone pole at around 4.45 a.m.
There was detour set up taking westbound Maryland 291 to southbound MD 290 back.
No injuries have been reported from the crash.
