Route 113 Stretch Dedicated to Late Worcester County Delegate

Governor Martin O’Malley has announced $49 million in new funding to widen a 9 mile stretch of Route 113.

And state officials say they will honor the late Maryland Delegate Bennett Bozman by dedicating a 14 mile portion of the highway to him that runs from Berlin to Snow Hill.

At a dedication ceremony yesterday Bozman’s widow Elizabeth said that her late husband would be proud.

Bozman served as a Delegate from Wicomico and Worcester counties from 1991 to 2006 when he died.

Construction is set to begin early next year.
