Berlin Intersection Made Safer After Fatal Accident

The intersection of Bay Street and Route 113 in Berlin just got safer.

It now has new crosswalks, signage and a new speed limit that has been lowered from 55 mph to 45 mph.

In addition, town officials say a lit crossing signal will be put in by September.

The improvements come after a deadly crash in November where on teenager was killed while his brother lost his leg.
