The Milford Central Academy was in mourning after a deadly accident that took the life of Tricia Martin the principle of the school along with her 10 year old daughter.
The accident occurred mid-morning on Friday evening in Frederica.
Police say she was driving west when her car went off the road hitting a telephone box and embankment.
Police say that the daughter was able to get out of the car only to be hit by a car.
This week emotions were still raw.
As students returned to school yesterday superintendent Phyllis Kobel told WBOC that it was difficult to see her office in the wake of the accident.
Flowers were placed on the principal’s parking place…as a memorial to Martin.
