DOVER, Del. (AP) - The state House is poised to vote on a bill requiring members of Delaware's Public Service Commission to file financial disclosure statements for public review.
The bill slated for a House vote Thursday was approved unanimously by the Senate last May.
The legislation would add the commissioners to a long list of other state officials who must file financial disclosure statements, including lawmakers, judges and cabinet officials.
The members of the Public Service Commission are appointed by the governor and confirmed by the Senate. They are charged with regulating investor-owned public utilities, providing cable, electric, natural gas, wastewater, water and telecommunications services.
