Eighteen year-old Brittany Karen Ardis of Delmar has died from a car crash yesterday morning in Pittsville.
The Wicomico County Sheriff’s office says it involved a single vehicle collision on Pittsville Road in the area of Bob Smith Road.
WBOC reports that deputies say a 1993 Toyota veered off the highway and struck a tree.
It took fire crews to extricate her from the vehicle after which she was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
The crash is still under investigation.
