The state of Delaware wants to put limits on anglers going after Black Drum fish and Atlantic Menhaden fish.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control is looking at adopting new regulations after it was discovered that they may have been over fished.
Stewart Michel with DNREC told WBOC that his agency just wants to maintain their sustainability.
Among the proposals is a 3 fish limit for recreational use of Black Drum Fish as well as a 16 inch limit for their recreational and commercial use.
DNREC is also considering some new monitoring programs.
