WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A dump truck crash has closed northbound Del. 1 at Pole Bridge Road near Boyds Corner in New Castle County.
The Wilmington News Journal reports the truck crashed just before 5:30 a.m. Wednesday and spilled its load of sand on the roadway. Emergency crews diverted all traffic off of the highway at Pole Bridge Road.
A detour was set up to allow cars to return to the northbound roadway.
