The “Pitch Across Maryland 2.0” tour made it first stop in Ocean City yesterday where budding entrepreneurs were able to make videotaped business proposals in the back of the charter bus.
Each recorded pitch is 2 to 4 minutes long and will be shown to potential investors.
This is only the start of a three week trip that is being made available by Startup Maryland which tries to connection aspiring business leaders and the needed resources.
Eight finalists will get a chance to make their pitches at the TEDCO Expo in November which has invested in more than 300 Maryland companies.
The Expo was created by law in 1998 to boost the growth of technology companies.
