Starting today in Newark the Office of Highway Safety will set up a DUI Checkpoint as aprt of its Checkpoint Strikeforce campaign which runs each weekend until New Year’s Day.
Safety officials note that traffic deaths and injuries outnumber those from violent crimes by a two to one margin.
