Delaware City Refinergy Emissions

Several hundred pounds of hazardous chemical were released into the air at the Delaware City Refinery.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control says their report found that the Wrangle Hill Road facility emitted more than 670 pounds of sulfur dioxide.

The incident initially set off flares but the plant is now operating normally.
