SU Students See Opportunity in Estonia

In the fall of next year Salisbury University students studying computer science, mathematics or information systems could be going to Estonia to finish their bachelor’s degree and complete a master’s degree.

Karen Olmstead, dean of SU School of Science and Technology told the Salisbury Daily Times that Baltic nation is known as an international leader in cyber security and was hit with a large cyber attack five years ago.

The school hopes to send four to eight students under the program each year.

Olmstead added that this will give these kinds of students a chance to get an international opportunity in a field.
