Delmarva Power Wants to Cut Your Gas Bills

Gas Bill, 123rf.com

Delmarva Power is seeking a 14 percent rate cut for lower gas bills this winter.

Delmarva Power says some households could see a $24 drop in their monthly bill.

Bill Yingling with Delmarva Power told WDEL radio that a warmer than usual winter last year and a slowdown in the economy contributed to an oversupply of gas.

The new rate could go into effect as early as November 1st just in time for winter.
