Governor Jack Markell’s political action committee is looking beyond the borders of the First State.
The Wilmington News Journal reports that his Committee for a Better future formed back 8 years ago has listed a payment on their financial disclosure forms of over $47-thousand to the Washington DC PR firm Hinton Communications.
And Hinton boasts of its access to media such as The Wall Street Journal, CNN and CNBC.
They have also been responsible for the number of appearances on national media.
This is a shift from a few years ago when his PAC contributed to his political allies inside the state.
