Ocean City Now Has A Song

Yes, for the first time ever Ocean City now has a Song of the Summer.

Town officials say Baltimore-based musician Chuck Conjar’s tune  ”Ocean City Days” won the resort’s contest for an official song.

The announcement was made on the town’s Facebook page where fans were able to vote on the three finalists.

Conjar’s song begins with happy times in Ocean City when he spent summers with his family as a child.

The tune, then, moves through to his adult years and summer on the Eastern Shore.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that more than 10-thousand people had listened to the songs with more than 4-thousand casting votes.
