August 30-September 5, 2021
Welcome to Salisbury University’s Cultural Calendar Highlights for the week of August 30.
SU Art Galleries Downtown hosts the exhibit “Flow” from August 30-November 6. Works in the exhibit celebrate art evolving from a sentient experience rather than a conscious thought.
SU students present their scholarly and creative activities during SU’s annual Summer Student Research Showcase on Thursday, September 2. Topics range from studying spotted turtles to the development of fairy tales during a pandemic.
SU’s fall Feature Friday faculty and staff performance series returns with blues musician Chris English Friday, September 3. Held at The Brick Room in downtown Salisbury, admission is limited to those age 21 and older.
Also on September 3, SU’s Guerrieri Student Union Art Space opens its fall season with the exhibit “Pinkification,” featuring works by SU painting student D’Shon McCarthy. The display continues through September 30.
Most SU events return in-person this semester. Off-campus visitors should complete an online COVID-19 assessment, located on the SU website, prior to visiting. For more information, including times and locations, visit the SU website at salisbury.edu/events
