Maryland State Comptroller Considers Moratorium on New Regulations

During a poultry summit on the campus of Salisbury University, Maryland State Comptroller Peter Franchot said he would consider supporting a two year moratorium on new regulations. Looking ahead to his political future, the Maryland Democrat also said he would consider a run for the Governorship with an eye towards fiscal discipline during these recessionary times.
