Sunfest Moved to Avoid H2Oi Event in Ocean City

Sunfest Logo

Ocean City is changing the dates of its Sunfest this year in an effort to avoid coming at the same time as the unofficial gathering of car enthusiasts known as H2Oi.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the town event will now take place from Oct. 1st through the 4th.

Because this is a Leap Year the previous dates would have pushed Sunfest into the same weekend as H2Oi.

Last year when the car event took place in September there were some 121 arrests with some 15-hundred citations in addition to clashes breaking out among the participants.
