Ocean City Braces for H2Oi Motorist Event

H2Oi Facebook page

Ocean City is bracing for the unofficial event known as H2Oi this coming weekend when thousands are expected to flood the resort.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports the town has set up an Ocean City Motor Event Task Force.

And Police Chief Ross Buzzuro has said that he officers would exercise a zero tolerance policy when it comes to the motorist about to descend on the resort.

In addition, he said his department plans to partner with other law enforcement agencies to deal with the event.

H2Oi is expected to bring motorists with heavily modified vehicles to Ocean City from September 27 to September 29th according to the group’s Facebook page.

The official event was actually moved to Atlantic City in New Jersey last year but many in Ocean City expect thousands to arrive at the resort out of tradition.
