OC Hotels Want Tourist Season Ban on Boardwalk Pets Lifted

Don Rush

Hotel owners in Ocean City want to end barring pets on the boardwalk during the tourist season.

Currently, they are only allowed from October 1st through April 30th.

Adam Showell the general manager of Castle in the Sand told WBOC that the ban impacts the plans of the hotel guests.

The Hotel Motel Restaurant Association will be going to the Mayor and City Council to see if they can get the ban lifted.
