Despite Confederate Flag, Georgetown Historical Society Gets Funding from City

The Georgetown Town Council gave its unanimous approval of $24,750 to be awarded to the Georgetown Historical Society despite demands that the funds be tied to the removal of the Confederate flag on its Marvel Museum site. The Society did commit itself to finding a solution to meeting that demand after the funding was approved. Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush reports that some were skeptical and disappointed by the outcome.
