ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Several measures relating to medical marijuana in Maryland are getting a hearing before lawmakers in Annapolis.
The measures will be heard Friday at a joint hearing with the House Health and Government Operations Committee and the House Judiciary Committee.
One of the bills, which is being sponsored by Delegate Dan Morhaim, would establish the Medical Marijuana Commission to develop requests for applications for academic medical centers to operate programs in the state.
It also would include provisions for monitoring and overseeing approved medical marijuana programs.
